We could have explained what forest pedagogy is, but instead, we decided to show it to you.

There are children whose classroom is a beach strewn with logs, an ancient olive grove, or a young lowland forest.

They learn by playing, squabbling, exploring, and undertaking even risky ventures.

They grow. The film directs our eyes, ears, and hearts toward these young people, their lived experiences, and their thoughts. It is a journey into childhood to rediscover and reinterpret it—a journey to rediscover other possibilities within ourselves.

There are no adults in this film explaining or narrating; the protagonists are the children themselves.

And that is precisely why we chose to have them write the title. We wanted to convey this concept from the very first image you see in the film.
