Filmmaker, lover of the wild and forest guide.

Since I was a child, I have had a passion for videos and storytelling through images. I studied graphics and multimedia at Laba in Florence, and by working alongside a photography studio, I learned to train my eye to see the beauty around me. Over the years, I have made short documentaries to recount different realities near and far.

2019 DOVE LUI VUOLE (Where He Wants) recounts some missionary realities in India in the regions of Kerala and Andhra.

In 2021, I began living in a community in the woods of Val di Bisenzio at 'Venti di Terra': this is where I first encountered Forest Pedagogy. After completing my annual training in Milan, I began accompanying children in the woods near me.

Come quando fuori puoi is the meeting point between my two greatest passions.

50 years old, mother and forestry educator; trainer and adult circle facilitator.

Always attracted to the world of non-formal education, I found inspiration and answers to my research questions in scouting, in the faculty of education sciences, working in various associations (from childhood to old age) and dedicating myself passionately to various voluntary activities. I have worked in social cooperatives on projects concerning marginalisation, harm prevention and disability.

In 2004, I began my adventure with Fumettando, an independent comic book shop in Pisa, which I took over in 2006 and where I worked until 2018. During these years, I had the opportunity to encounter the ninth art and its most varied expressions, getting to know various artists personally.

So I embarked on a venture: to create a comic book that tells the story of the partisans, brings generations together and is a collective work by artists. This led to 'Bandierine', a collective work edited by Tuono Pettinato and published by Barta Edizioni.

In 2013, my son was born and, thanks to this experience, I encountered forest pedagogy, which has now become my home: I am a guide in a nature project in Collesalvetti (province of Livorno), a trainer, a facilitator of circles for adults, and since 2022 I have been working (together with other people scattered throughout the territory) to promote the national network of forest pedagogy and its dissemination.

This documentary is my new collective venture: art, passion and collaboration to bring this reality, which for me remains revolutionary, to as many people as possible.

For Bosco Trullallero APS, I accompany, tell stories, observe, explore paths and words. Forest pedagogy has led me to reinvent myself and see the world through different eyes. And to spread it further in Come Quando Fuori Puoi, I have put myself out there as a social designer because I believe in the power of this documentary as a seed of change.

Experiencing the forest with young children trains me every day in the charm of discovery, in experiencing the passing seasons first-hand, in remembering how wonderful it is to play and stop to observe the little things.

I believe that, especially at this time, forest pedagogy deserves attention. I think it can offer valuable insights even for those who come from other pedagogical backgrounds. This documentary is a great opportunity to share stories, meet people and engage in dialogue. I decided to embark on this adventure by taking care of the social media and fundraising aspects.

I started out as a graphic and web designer and in recent years I have discovered forest pedagogy, finding inspiration and beauty in it. In the documentary, I bring my experience as a website developer and my desire to participate in spreading this revolutionary vision.
